John Coulton is a renowned trumpeter, educator, performance and recording artist. John is an Alumnus of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Director of the John Coulton Brass ensemble and a popular mainstay of the bustling Australian music scene.
His playing has featured on numerous recordings made for Radio and Television including music for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. His solo recordings “Sounds of Splendour” (Brass Classics label) “Sounds of Grandeur” (Tubicium Records) and John’s newest release, “Jazz Standards” have sold thousands of copies and achieved critical acclaim.
